Maniera gelateria

The name MANIERA comes from the Latin word ‘manierus’ which means way. It was first used to define the style of the original artistic creations of the famous Greek painter Dominikos Theotokopoulos, creations that were influenced by Renaissance models while at the same time drawing elements from the later artistic trend, the Baroque. Thus, in their attempt to define Theotokopoulos’ works, the critics of the time gave them the name “the Greek way” (Maniera greca).

Maniera gelateria

The inspiration of the name Maniera gelateria and the connection with the original etymology of the word comes from the fact that its creators, based on authentic Italian recipes and using selected Greek raw materials, present you the Greek ‘way’ of producing authentic Italian gelato.
